This simply isn’t true. Since Murty took charge he has been far from one of their worst players, quite the opposite in fact. He’s been one of their most influential and although not worth anything like the £3m being banded about, I imagine Rangers fans would be very disappointed to see him go.

Friend of mine is a Rangers fan and i asked him what he thought of the Murphy signing. His reply was instantly ‘it probably means Windass is on his way somewhere’ - this was before there was any reports about us bidding.
