Not to be a squad player but if he thought he had any chance at all of playing (and I would hope any player has that belief and ambition) then why wouldn’t he? France or the Premier League? No brainer. He's playing and now scoring for Bordeaux, who are third in L1 and have a realistic chance of getting european football next season. Why would he consider moving to Utd, or any other Prem club, to be 4th, 5th or even 6th choice?

I agree on chasing £££... but i think utd would be a great move for Maja, who's to say he wouldn't get a chance at our 1st team coming on for Mousset with 20 minutes left, and knowing Wilder if he plays well he will get a chance at startingIMHO unless young players are good enough to play Prem football regularly, they are far better off playing regular first team football elsewhere, whether that be in a lower league or abroad - much better for their development than sitting on the bench or playing U23 football. Realistically, in how many Prem sides would Maja hold down a starting position? No matter what he thinks, I'd say he'd definitely be behind Mousset and McBurnie and possibly Sharp in the pecking order for the #9 role at Utd.
I was sceptical when he moved to Bordeaux and it obviously took him a while to find his feet but now he is starting to do so, why would he look to move? Money may of course be a consideration (especially for his representative) but if he continues to progress as he's doing, bigger contract offers from bigger clubs will certainly come his way. Look how many careers have been ruined at an early age by chasing the $$$ and players going to clubs where they've no realistic chance of playing - Jerome Sinclair being a great example.
typo... meant to say listed on transfermarkt, moved for £3.5m, obviously they'd want much moreListed where? The pinnacle of absolutely no transfer value knowledge transfer markt?
