I think it's pretty safe to say that no one on here is likely to know anything about him other than what they learn from YouTube.

Some may have got "mates at work" who are, or know, someone who is, a Hartlepool fan. But they are a rare species.

Out of curiosity, I took a sneak preview of the lad on YouTube. After about 1 minute I thought, "Why am I wasting my life doing this?". Not that there was anything wrong with the lad, but I've done this so many times - looked at videos of players we are supposed to be linked with and what happens is 9 time out of 10 it's just bullshit and 1 times out of 10 it's true, but they don't play anything like they look on their YouTube videos when they get here.

All of these had me choking on my cheesy Wotsits in excitement on watching their YouTube videos, but haven't, or didn't, reproduce those sort of displays for us.

So, Josh Hawkes eh? I like the name. Proper name that. Summat we can pronounce and fit on a shirt.

Other than that...

I have absolutely no clue. But I have to scratch my head and wonder why we would be shopping in the basement of League 2 now - unless it's with a view to him going into our development squad for then next 3 years or so?
