Can I just say that despite the obligatory miscontrols & unpressured passes into touch he did some good things tonight? Or is that going too far?
 



No you are not Nick. He did fine. His comedy moments were what made my night, though. That supremely funny backward run and fall over header was priceless. On at least two other occasions his limbs seemed to have taken on separate lives from his torso.

I know what you mean there was the time in the first half when he somehow got past a few players and was an outlet for Cresswell. I think he's better attacking than he is defending but he's still a poor player, that said he's probably a bit stronger and quicker than Taylor so it looks like with Kallio, Geary & Naysmith out he's got the shirt for the time being more due to default.

Does Piggy Johnson play on the right? He could have our Jordan for breakfast next month.

The funniest was early in the 2nd half when he was trying to control the ball but he looked like a drunk juggling with the ball and the ball smacked his face
 
Christ, we are missing Walker. We've covered the centre half positions more or less adequately, apart from Davies, but full back has been a nightmare.

I guess my OP was born out of hope and the warm glow of tonight more than anything else. But Santos is absolutely right, Stewart does have pace and a bit of power, but he is hopelessly uncoordinated. Whether that is down to over enthusiasm, lack of concentration, or just plain lack of coordination I don't know, but it does prevent him from being a player.

To be fair he couldn't do any worse than our local hero Armstrong a couple of years ago!
 
He had 2 or 3 decent moments and has to be thankful that Blackpool didnt take advantage of the massive gap he was leaving in defence.

Still a bag of shit that is doing his best to make Alan Wright look good.
 
He did some good things, left half the pitch wide open on several occasions and did some downright hilarious things.

I asked my mate whether he thought 'inconsistent' was the right term for his performance. We agreed that 'random' was a better description.

It's odd that other managers thought him good enough to play in the Premiership. At least we used his transfer to get rid of Hendrie.

his primary use was to get hendrie off the wage bill. he is still better than quinn though
 



My favourite 'Jordan moment' last night was when he tried to kick the ball with his standing leg..the man is a legend. I think his comedy routines add significantly to the entertainment value at the Lane. These were almost matched by the 15 year old comic linesman and the hilarious Blackpool defence, especially their keeper when he put the ball out for a corner when trying to dribble with it. Wonderful!

And there was Blackie saying a few weeks ago he was helping us out by playing out of position at left back!
