"Jordan Stewart could be sidelined for up to four months, Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell has revealed, after becoming the latest victim of Bramall Lane's injury curse.

Initial tests on the midfielder's knee have....." (Quoted from Sheffield Star Website)

KB has even got the local media believing he's a midfielder now. He's never ever played there (other than in emergencies) for any other club. He has always been a FULL BACK! Why won't they accept this?!!!

Aside from that this should be the last time we see him in a United shirt. I can't imagine they would renew his contract now.

isn't he on a contract for next year anyway? good news if he isn't as we definitely won't sign him, possibly good news if he is on a contract as at least we might be forced to get someone in who can do a job at lb. Agreed though he should definitely be considered a left back given that's where he's played the majority of his games over his career.

I like midfielders........but I like defenders too...........but who's better.....only one way to find out......................

Are you asking Jordan Stewart the defender to fight Jordan Stewart the midfielder? They'd both bloody lose!

They would fight eachother with their crazy legs! Like those toys kids have where you have a fighter on a podium and you smack the button to swing their arms and legs :D

Can't we terminate his contract?

Surely he's in breach of it? I mean, it says he's a footballer but he's quite clearly not........

Yep, he's under contract for another year.

If it is a 6 month lay off then I'm not surprised, I said straight away that it was a cruciate ligament injury.

If its anything like Jags, Arteta and Naysmith he'll be out for the best part of a year anyway.

I can also confirm that he's neither a Fullback nor a midfielder, he's Quinn's official "Bench Warmer". KB never expected to play him, but injuries meant that he had to. KB's scouting the diamond mines of Sierra Leone for a replacement

surely one of the WORST players ever to pull on the Blades shirt and by god weve had some shite!!!!
