Sunderland have said he won't be going to Derby. They've just signed Fagan from Hull anyway.

I personally would prefer not to have Stead in our squad - I've seen a fair few Derby matches this season and apart from the odd moment of excellence I haven't been particularly impressed by the lad.

Last time I had a meal in our pub and Jon Stead was sat next to me(truthfully) he didnt say he was joing the blades, he just ordered a coke and the same meal as me. He is a huddersfield lad and I think a move to the lane would interest him, question is whether he is good enough, and I dont know the answer
