You’ll get used to itI’m new here so will choose my words carefully but what a load of bollox. He hasn’t alienated his manager. Wilder just the other day said he has no issues with Lunny. I guarantee he will play a big part this season and I for one am delighted he is staying. He has all the attributes we need in the Prem, pace and power, and we don’t have the budget to guarantee replacing 5 goals/4assists from Midfield having missed a number of games. If he goes at the end of the season and banks a couple of mill Signing on fee then best of luck to him. He didn’t get much of a look in in Champ didn’t sulk, head down and was one of our strongest looking players on and off the ball last season...but of course because the bloke probably wants a deal at similar level to other top earners at club we cut our nose to spite our face call him a tosser, don’t support him and then lose his goals/assists and get no money....only one party starting to look like idiots and it ain’t Lunny
Jack O'Connell's form dipped post lockdown and Fleck's. Hard to maintain form when you're injured though.A few on here have said the Lundstram would be expensive to replace. He’s already been replaced.
If Berge is Norwoods replacement, and Norwood seems likely to be around for a few seasons yet, then Berge becomes Lundstrams replacement in the short/medium term. Berge is also getting better and more consistent in that role, producing better attacking stats.
Lundstrams form has dipped post lockdown, so he needs to prove himself again, like he did from pre season last year.
Lundstram seems to believe he has proved himself to be EPL standard. He is nowhere near that yet.
Buckle down, work hard and don’t complain. Oh look. I worked hard and got a new contract offer, based on reality!
I think I was being generous in describing his form. It’s been patchy and inconsistent, sorry from the first 3 months when he was out to prove himself. Injuries or not, he did not carry that form throughout the season. He was not in a position to demand a higher wage at the turn of the year. He has been offered an intoved contract, based on the clubs valuation of his worth to the club. Others have accepted, he hasn’t.Jack O'Connell's form dipped post lockdown and Fleck's. Hard to maintain form when you're injured though.

If he's not willing to sign a new contract and just seeing existing one out knowing he can leave for free next summer for a big signing on fee .... dont think he'd want to give 100% for Blades while here .... so surely best to get rid now!!!!Do you know all the facts and personal circumstances and the exact contract he’s been offered ? I assume not ...
If he stays and performs this season all well here good he cost us fk all ..and I will cheer him on if he performs ....if we sell him for a few million all well and good as well....we can’t lose either way
No need to jump to conclusions ..we have had plenty of players over the last 10 years we have wanted to fk off and we couldn’t shift em ...Lundstram not really done anything wrong
Times have changed...enjoy the ride ffs
He’s got to perform to a level to keep his stock up though !If he's not willing to sign a new contract and just seeing existing one out knowing he can leave for free next summer for a big signing on fee .... dont think he'd want to give 100% for Blades while here .... so surely best to get rid now!!!!
And just how would you propose to "get rid" if he hasn't yet had an offer that he wishes to pursue? If he's not willing to sign a new contract and just seeing existing one out knowing he can leave for free next summer for a big signing on fee .... dont think he'd want to give 100% for Blades while here .... so surely best to get rid now!!!!
He’s about the only professional footballer that hasn’t had a bid submitted forGoing to Villa
He’s about the only professional footballer that hasn’t had a bid submitted for![]()
Whatever the rights and wrongs of Lundstrams contract situation he now becomes important to keep at the moment as Sander has just returned to the Club early from International duty with a knee injury.

Blades' midfielder Sander Berge injured on international duty
Chris Wilder will be sweating on the availability of his record signing ahead of the Premier League opener next weekwww.examinerlive.co.uk
What if it's not actually Lunny at all, and is infact......JOC!!!?As long as the Lundstram thats going is the one thats the anonymous sideways and backpasser, im fine with it. But if its the one that scores goals ill be a tad dissapointed.
I'm thinking of club not player? And just how would you propose to "get rid" if he hasn't yet had an offer that he wishes to pursue?
I'm thinking of club not player?
Thanks for saving me the effortTo get rid you need to either
A) Pay off this contract - moronic to do this and lose a player for the season, once who Wilder has said has had a perfect attitude and will continue to remain involved whilst that is the case.
B) Sell him, that takes a buying club and a willing player to make it happen. Basically if he wants to cash in we have no sway over it.
Your all over the place here, we get no benefit out of A and we have no control over B. Hes a blade, and lets hope we can see him at his best next season. Were not privvy to the details of the offer he got, what he was looking for etc, so once he performs next season GLTTL
........Lundstram not really done anything wrong
