Sums up how I've seen it perfectly, although I wouldn't say he was ever at risk of stagnating, I think he's comfortably adapted to and proven himself at every step up he's taken. He's a class act and my favourite player. Important point about the lack of no.10 now, that's how I've seen it, he's been given more responsibility to add that attacking side to his game, but he's still got the energy to do everything he's always done for us.

Anyone with just an ounce of common sense, could tell that he was always had potential to be a very good footballer. Granted he's grown with us and got better, but he always had that something that made you think he could make it at the top level with ease.

Mind you, some on here (or used to come on here) doubted this and wanted to drive him to West Ham themselves for the ridiculously low amount of £4m which was being touted....

He's a very important player for us. There's a reason why 'Tufty' plays him week in week out and told everyone categorically that he's never been tempted to move JF on. But then CW clearly knows his arse from his elbow.
