You can’t even discuss selling Egan. Anyone willing to tackle a players feet with his head (v Liverpool) can stay as long as he wants. He’s found his home. That’s priceless. He’s fucking great.

Egan is priceless he’s the foundation of the team.
He is irreplaceable disaster if he went worse than Jones or Currie going

I’ve been on record as saying Egan was the biggest singular reason we got automatic last season.

An astonishing signing. Perhaps the gaffers best ever (would get my vote amid fierce competition).

Has started this season where he left off the last. It must be a record for a newly promoted side to have such a good defensive record in its first (half) season back in the big time. And also with the exact same personnel from the Championship.

The hole that he would leave if he was to move on would be, without a doubt, substantial !!

But make no bones, there will be interest. And with others (the Internationals mainly).
Keeping this lot together will be a challenge !!!

If we have Egan in the side we comfotably best Man U. Despite Jags having a decent game, you saw how much we missed him that afternoon. It certainly isn't a role it would be 'easy' to fill as some have suggested.

It's almost like people have forgot the days when the likes of McEverly, Collins, Edgar, Matt Hill and bloody Alcock were playing centre half for us.

His comment was we get plenty wrong - John Egan and JO'C clear examples where it didn't go to plan as they are both now in excess of where Brentford are. Must admit, John Egan >= Pontus Jansson so shame we got rid quite so quickly.

My brother (Brentford fan) still maintains that Egan and JO’C are only good ‘because they suit your style of play and your system’
