Latching on to a comment where Egan was more use than McBurnie in the ten minutes he spent up front.

For the more head it kick it type role he plays, maybe because of his Gaelic football background, he's actually quite cultured really.

If we need a presence up there, why not, for one match only, have Egan giving some physical presence? Jebbison isn't going to give that; he needs a summer in the gym. The rest are relatively small in stature.

We have Uremovic who would be just as comfortable as the middle centre half and probably what he's most used to at his other club. Throw Bash back into his RCB role and bring Jackie Long throw back in.

We can't just amble through a game and concede points like we have been doing of late and we can't just go in all powder puff either.

So, for one night only, I'm suggesting this:

Foderingham
Bash Uremovic Robinson
Baldock Berge Norwood Stevens
Gibbs-White Egan N'Diaye

I think this is actually a bit logical because any change to the above and you weaken the team. Jebbison was lost leading the line against Stoke and he just doesn't look ready.

Who would you rather be calling on in the time of need? Egan or Jebbison? Robinson or Davies? The one call I'm 50/50 on is Norrington-Davies/Stevens though the latter might just have more end product right now.

We need goals and we need to have a presence at the other end of the pitch. To me if we go with Jebbo for McBurnie as a straight swap we will just sleepwalk to defeat. Given Egan assisted and McBurnie is still not available then why wouldn't you try it?

Given we are in the fifth season of Egan heading corners over the bar or 2 yards wide every week, my view on this is no.
I can see Champs thoughts here.
We need to win ! we won't score with Jebbo leading the line he will just get bullied out of it.
Egan has a presence about him (even if its just nuisance value).
Can work it has in the past!
If Mcbernie plays then won't happen ! Worth a punt if not .
We are at last chance saloon tomorrow lose that and we can forget play offs

I realise it's a tongue in cheek post but his heading at goal is pretty poor. Missed a sitter on Friday after a tremendous Norwood pick out.

I can see the logic but it's a no from me. I'm not against pushing him up late on and he clearly wants to.

I'd start Jebbo with MGW and Ndiaye behind.
I think it’s become apparent over the last few games, that MGW isn’t a striker.

Mcburnie gets a lot of stick but you’ve really got to blame Hecky for picking him.
Most people can see he’s not capable of performing at championship standard, the details
of which have been highlighted over the weeks months and years by thousands of blades fans.
Hecky puts him in the spotlight and Oli gets shot down.
Oli had a great season 5 years ago and other people decided his price tag which is now hung around his neck
like a fucking millstone.
Give the lad a break Hecky!…….leave him out of the side.

If Jebbo cant do it, try Osula again, I've got a sneaky feeling Sir Billy of Bladeville will play a part on Monday though.

You are blaming our manager for picking the one fit senior striker, who cost well over £10 million, to play upfront? Who else is he meant to pick exactly?

You‘ve illustrated the point nicely by highlighting his price.

Are you sure he’s fit?
All the noises coming from the lane suggest he is’nt.

Play the man at centre forward who missed our best chance on Friday ?

I’m thinking Paul Warhurst

Now that would be something

True

Only concede in 3 out of last 13 home games but let’s not let that get in the way
Look at away form for one and then look at the goals we’ve conceded. The lad is toss & will blame everyone but himself
