Maybe, but there's his wages to consider as well. Not only what we could save, but the disparity with the rest of the squad, which isn't ideal. We could get someone considerably cheaper who'd offer at least as much as Brayford has since signing permanently. Even Basham's made him look bad. I also get the impression that he doesn't 100% want to be here any more. He looks like someone who knows he's fucked his career up.

What is interesting is that most people agree that the putting Basham up against thier 14 was a bit of an Adkins masterstroke.....but if the Bearded one HAD been fit.....I dare say it would never have been considered.

Never quite regained his form.
To be fair, he suffered a horrendous injury when he blocked the ball but that Swindon oaf went straight over the top.
Unfortunately the tackle was blindside to the ref (who had an awful game) otherwise he would have been sent off, it was a shocking tackle.
