There's a piece on him in the Star today, looks up to the Gaffer, full of respect and appreciation for NC helping start his career.
Really impressed with him on and off the field.

'I have no idea if there is a clause in his contract that allows him to be recalled, but at the very least I hope his performances are being closely monitored'

FUCK OFF

Clubs in a relegation battle don't decide to send you out on loan then recall you because you've had a few good games two leagues below, (even if one of them was against Fulham). Only injuries will seem him recalled, if it's even possible.

He's made a great start though. About time we had someone who looked like he was too good to play for us!

Surely if there was a clause allowing him to be recalled at any time we wouldn't have allowed McMahon to leave permanently............not without another recognised RB at the club.....would we....??

Shit. They're starting to notice him:-

"Lifelong Cardiff City fan and author of The Blues are Up , Scott Johnson, has been following the performances of John Brayford while on loan at Sheffield United....."

Probably alerted by carefully considered contributions on this well-respected oracle of football learning.

Personally I think he is hugely over-rated. He consistently loses his man, gets done for pace, lacks bite in the tackle, goes wandering out of position, seldom gets forward, lacks stamina and determination, looks disinterested and apathetic and has a very unkempt beard.

I only realise he's on the pitch when I count the United players and notice that he's still there :)

Perfect for us then

For most of his appearances I’ve thought he was some sort of tramp in a United kit who’d managed to blag his way on to the pitch like what that bloke did with Man.U once.

To continue the careful understatement, he's adequate. A bit nesh as he wears long sleeves, the beard's the sort of carefully trimmed face muff I haven't seen in a long time, and as I recall Foxy saying a while back, he has the demeanour of a Nazi U-Boat captain who's looking for his lost pea coat.

That apart, what a guy!
