McBurnie was having injections to play through the pain apparently but looking at his social media posts he seems to be in his house constantly like he's isolating.
Yeah, he defended him the other week using the injections. I just wondered why he wasn’t mentioned last night. I noticed he even said something like “I don’t think I’ve missed anyone out”. Just your £17m striker Chris.

I watched a pre match interview last night and he individually praised every player (litterally every player front to back, by name) except my MOTM didsy.
I wouldn't look too far into either.

Would like to have a little update on McBurnie + Robinson. McBurnie was apparently 100% back for the new year and he's still not come back. Robinson seems to have disappeared again, CW did say he was playing with an injury at Brighton though.

I’ll give you a little update, Sam, leave both of them out as we don’t need them. McBurnie can be on the bench to keep the seats warm, Robinson can isolate for 12 months, doing some DIY work around the house to keep him occupied. 😁

He’s upped his training this week. Coach is throwing bricks at his head. After using hand sanitizer and socially distanced of course.

Given that we are pretty much down already and likely to be even more in the shit by mid Feb, would it not be better for us if JOC didn't play and put himself in the shop window so we can hold on to him for next season's Championship campaign?
I know it's a perverse way of looking at it, but if he returns and plays well and helps us restore a bit of dignity in how we are relegated, it's likely a Prem team will come knocking in the summer.
If we have a solid back line containing Egan and JOC next season, I'd give us every chance of doing decent

No doubt JOC will be fit by the end of the season....so he can play for a PL with another club next season. It's one right out of the football gods handbook for screwing Sheffield United.

Unless JOC means Jesus O`Christ then it doesn`t matter if hes back or not, we are down

Yeah, what’s the point in trying to rush O’CONNELL back now? Get him fully fit for the Championship campaign.

I don't think JOC would accept that. He will be playing for his future. The lad belongs in the Premier League. I'd be surprised if he's still here next season.

An awful injury and surgery he will have to show that he is back in form and sympton free for sometime before any prem team would risk a a transfer
