Just googled him, he's 29 and played 98 games for Arsenal...let that sink in...nobody who is no good plays that many times for Arsenal.

In the meantime Dunne who is 27 last 5 clubs are Accrington Stanley, Hearts, Sunderland, Fleetwood and QPR.

Why exactly are we convinced Dunne is better ????
Cos he’s not JLT

Is Dunne deffo done cause SSN still reporting increased offer

He's bound to be pissed off. Hope he downs tools for the rest of the season

Who ?

B56
Dunne, if SSN are reporting that we are still interested (would be more inclined to trust the local journalists) then maybe the Dunne deal isn't dead in the water just yet.

If we were still in for Dunne, I don't think we'd be doing a medical for Holding.

Where's the link with femi going potentially?

£2m + Seriki on loan for the rest of the season, considering Dunne plays right back for them it makes sense. Allows them to reinvest in the summer without being left short right now. Could be a good all round move, slight risk on our part with how effective Seriki has been though.

Can't see us selling him could be a loan ! Maybe Dunne deal is still alive!
Seriki going there on loan (no way we should let him leave permanently) might just be worth it if it means we get Dunne for permanent in exchange, you would question QPR's transfer strategy and negotiation if it does happen, as we benefit both short and long term while they benefit short term.

They benefit long term too because Dunne walks for free in the summer if they don’t sell now.

Apparently chasing Rob Holding only now, 2 bids for Dunne rejected

Fair enough.

If Seriki goes there on loan it might benefit him as well, he's had fitness issues this season but he hasn't had a consistent run in the team.

Maybe having a run in the first team for the rest of the season might help him build his fitness up, and he'd surely be their starting RB if he goes there.

It's more about when he was fit (he came off the bench in plenty of games around late September to late November/early December.

Gilchrist hardly ever played 90 minutes and Seriki often came off the bench for him, yet he only started 1 game (Oxford at home) in that time.

It wasn't until around the time we played West Brom at the Hawthorns that Seriki got injured, same time that Souza and Campbell got injured.

Is this a Dunne deal yet?
Makes you wonder if we’re bringing in 2 centre backs.
