Just a hunch, but I feel too much is being made of this. At the end of the day Adkins has signed Sharp Hammond and Woolford. These were his picks and in Hammond's case his loan was extended in this window.

Maybe just maybe Adkins doesn't want to sign anyone else and thinks he has enough and is better to work with what he has already.

And if he can't get better than Hammond or woolford by Monday night then I will be pleased he won't bring more in.

Tweets 1 and 2 are pure (if that's the right word) speculation that bc the controls on Clough's transfer and loan policy were too lax then the controls on Adkins' policy are too tight.

(Like Adkins was either too stupid or desperate to negotiate before he signed, and bearing in mind he's just got Hammond.)
