Shame it's not being broadcast on YT. Would have liked to get a look at him

I'm pretty sure that Wilder will be on board with these signings. Given that they don't appear to have diverted cash from the top target signings, what has he got to lose?
I'm also hopeful that discussions have been had during the process of renewing Wilders contract, along the lines of laying out to him the new club strategy, and testing his buy-in to the approach.
Everything says that we will need a radically different approach if we are to establish ourselves in the Premier League. For what it's worth, I think that the new owners will be deadly serious in this ambition. For their part, they will, I believe, to be ready to invest on a scale we haven't seen before. While they clearly rate Wilder, they won't let him get in the way of the plan, and I don't doubt that he knows this. The days of one man calling most of the shots are, I think, behind us.
I hope so, anyway. If we can combine financial clout with high powered recruitment analytics, new fitness insight, and Wilders man-management and exceptional rebuilding capabilities, then we're in with a shout. Depth of tactical awareness and thinking would be the one area that worries me, and I wouldn't be surprised if they are thinking of further bolstering our ranks in this respect. I want Wilder to stay with us, but I think he knows he will need to accept change if he wants to do that.
Some of our owners take no messing in their respective fields of business, and don't fail. I don't expect their attitude to their investment in us to be any different.

What a cracking post.

For a long, long while, our outside perspective - as much as we can ever truly know - is that our club has needed modernising. We'll all have a take on what that should entail, and what is/isn't acceptable, whilst remaining true to our roots but for me the following are essential:
Modernising the training and academy facilities.
Bolstering the scouting network and scope.
Using data driven speculative recruitment, as a source of further income.
Modernising the kop, and the catering arrangements.
Having a clearer boardroom structure, clearer communication with the fans that doesn't rely on some pillock on Twitter.

It's when you talk of moving and/or renaming the ground that you can piss off.

What's more, Wilder isn't daft, he'll know now that this is the best job he can get, and the most exciting job someone could ask for, in terms of what could happen next. You have to be adaptable, to be invited along for the ride.

How do you know. Please do tell.

Wilder said it. It was in one of his match press conferences. There’s an extract here, probably worth you trawling back through the press conferences and finding the footage if you’re worried he’s been excluded from the process.

If Lil JeffCác is a development signing how much input does Wilder need?

This lad is going to be some player. Whether Wilder will want to play him as he’s not a carthorse type is another question. I’m sure Wilder will claim he doesn’t work hard enough while trying to stifle him of any creativity.
