Very sad if true but maybe he needs a change of scenery and fresh challenge. He's still young so let's not abuse him and wish him the best for his (potentially short) footballing career.

Anybody abusing him should wash there mouth out,! very unfortunate for him and the club who seem to have done all they can with something like this.Very sad if true but maybe he needs a change of scenery and fresh challenge. Why would a blood test give you a blood clot in the leg? Sounds like a load of bollocks to me. Not sure why some on here have to post abuse at the lad when they know fuck all about what is wrong.
AyePlayers should be allowed to have buttock implants IMO
What a word. gonna start using the H now when I call the Mrs a Phleb over textphlebotomist.
The combo of United and injuries has robbed him of much needed game time. He's played 886 minutes of the last 9000 (ish) available since he came back from BurtonNothing like a Newspaper rumour regarding an unnamed player to get people jumping to conclusions. I wonder if other clubs fans are making these sorts of conclusions over injured young players in their squad?
It could well turn out to be Jebbo, but until it's confirmed it's hard to know.
We've only seen glimpses of him, in all the appearances he's made, he's burst in, had a couple of decent games amongst some crap ones and then disappears off the scene for a while.
He'd have been better off staying out on loan, making more of a name for himself as a league one striker, getting some loan time in the championship and then assess him again.
He's a hard one to judge as i don't think he reads the game well enough (yet?) so needs games somewhere to show what he's about.
I'd have expected him to have played more to be fair, not followed his injuries that much so don't know how much actual time he's been available, so it's a hard one to judge. The combo of United and injuries has robbed him of much needed game time. Definitely hard to tell. But denying him U23/U21 games when he has been fit but sitting on the bench or just getting on for a short cameo has been an odd decision in previous seasons.I'd have expected him to have played more to be fair, not followed his injuries that much so don't know how much actual time he's been available, so it's a hard one to judge.
Yeah, better to get him out on loan though insteadDefinitely hard to tell. But denying him U23/U21 games when he has been fit but sitting on the bench or just getting on for a short cameo has been an odd decision in previous seasons.
He may end up not making it, many don't. But it'll be a shame to lose someone obviously talented for nothing
Can't now his contract is expiring unfortunatelyYeah, better to get him out on loan though instead
I think this might be the bit that we aren't very good at as really we should have cashed in on him when someone was interested. We either need to commit to bringing through a player because they are good enough, loan or sell. We seem to get caught in the middle ground meaning we don't benefit in any way.Definitely hard to tell. I say this a lot but the lack of someone with a modicum of experience being in charge of football operations is a massive oversight. Uniited World know as much about how to run the football side of an English club as Bettis doesI think this might be the bit that we aren't very good at as really we should have cashed in on him when someone was interested. No way you can blame him for that red cardIf there’s medical negligence then I feel for the lad, however he also needs to consider his own actions, such as the daft red card at Wrexham, in how his career has gone to date.
ah didn't realise that, not a great loss then from the evidence so farCan't now his contract is expiring unfortunately
Throwing away an awful lot of potential but based on him (if it's true) blaming United for both mis-handling his development and causing his health issues it's out of the clubs hands now.ah didn't realise that, not a great loss then from the evidence so far
Agreed! A doctor is the last person you want taking blood! (Speaking from experience!)Seems weird to have a doctor administer the taking of the sample though. I’ve never had a doctor do it and I’ve had thousands of tests. It’s always been either a trained nurse or a specialist phlebotomist.
It seemed pretty innocuous but it was still a bit of inexperience and it gave the ref opportunity to send him off. I can’t remember if the club appealed it or not at the time.No way you can blame him for that red card
The key is potential. He's certaibnly sat on the bench for a number of games when he's been fit and for whatever reason, he's not pushed on, yet. If he's not going to sign a new contract and he's going to walk away, there is clearly a lower value that the club put on him than he wants for himself. Fair enough, he may well get it elsewhere.Throwing away an awful lot of potential but based on him (if it's true) blaming United for both mis-handling his development and causing his health issues it's out of the clubs hands now.

They were thinking about appealing but from memory didn't. You are right though if he doesn't get tangled up in it, he doesn't give the referee the opportunity. But it wasn't even the referee it was the 4th official on that one and for me it was never even a consideration of a red card, if anything Jebbo looks at him to avoid contact.
