Has this lad signed or not?

If he hasn't after a season of not kicking a single ball, and numerous attempts to get him to sign a contract, can we tell the lad to sign or fuck off please. For fuck sake, be decisive United. Both parties have now had enough 'just another 48 hours' to make up their minds.

If Utd were a boyfriend and got dumped, they would be round stalking the poor ex for about 18 months. Be adults about it, come to a decision one way or another, and move on. Get it done either way.
Look, just be patient will you?

We have some stock footage left over of Billeh handing the #10 shirt to N'Diaye. We're photoshopping Archer and Jebbo into the clip, before we release it to flickering images and a Toddla T track.

Player either wants to be here or he doesn’t.

Case in point Blaster.

In one season, done more at United than the last 3 from Jebbison. He took his offer, bit of negotiation and signed.

Jebbo- probably thinks he’s better than he is and thus feels the offer should match his delusions. So now holding out for better offers.

See yer. Deadline of the end of the season or gone.
Or, lad's career has stalled and needs game time to regain fitness and form, so he's seeking reassurances about his role.

For months?
I can’t see that.

From the manager himself he set it out very clearly his plan for the player.
I don’t see how that might have changed since then, so more likely this is about money imho

I know players hold the balance of power v the club but we , in particular , seem to accept getting fucked around by players & their contracts.
A case in point was Ndiaye.
FFS tell Jebbo to sign or do one.
How can we plan our huge recruitment needs this window if we can't even get an answer out of the ones we have ?
If he doesn’t sign by x, x Being the end of May, then he‘s gone and we move on….tbis goes to all the other players we have out of contract… we CAN NOT have another pre season the sa,e as Berge and Ndiye

The more tattoos the have, the more they think they’ve made it and the less likely they are to sign.

Once I saw the leg tattoo he’d added I knew we were in trouble!

🤣

The whole Ndiaye fiasco was down to poor planning. Why didn’t we give him a new deal in January before etc everything is always last minute with us.

Wilder walked in and first thing he did was get the young players signed up this should have been done well in advance.

We should have already had contracts done for everyone like OM (if he’s one we are keeping etc)

I think I've read that the club tried for a long time with both Berge and Ndiaye to sign new deals but neither wanted to, via their agent, to discuss new deals. Fairly sure I've read that, someone else will probably confirm.

We weren't paying other clubs what we owed them we certainly wouldn't be in a position to sign new contracts with millions without promotion guaranteed.

The owner was too busy trying to flog us to a man most of us had seen through within a few hours

He’s only going once we’ve signed a replacement.

What is wrong with that stance?

We should have a big enough mentality to say we accept he may go, but we’re securing his replacement first or the buying club are providing one in exchange.

Why do we not do this? Why do we take the money first and then look to work out what to do next?

Ndiaye was offered the initial contract months and months before he eventually left. He refused to even look at it until the summer when our league position was known.

The could have possibly offered him a new deal at the end of his breakthrough season. At that time was he worthy of being our highest earner ever? At that point he was only a year into a 3 year deal. Could that initial 3 year deal have been longer? But then what if he’d flopped.

Ndiaye had his head turned by his boyhood club and wanted to leave. At that point we either let him run his contract out or sold him for whatever we could get.

On that, he couldn't play by the way because he was on blood thinners and Wilder said it wasn't worth the risk incase he got a cut or a knock.
So, he spent 20hrs having needles and ink pumped into himself instead, f'laugh 🤔

So you don't think anyone at the club could negotiate or offer contracts because the owner was busy doing other things? 🤔

I don't think he was willing to sign off on anything if he wasn't paying what was owed to other clubs...so we could have agreed all sorts but if the money isn't there....

Same old, this club is going nowhere under current ownership and management in my humble opinion. This season has made it an embarrassment for any player (including Jebbison) worth a few bob to stay if they have any leverage to get out to a club with promise. Wilder isn't doing a “rebuild” he’s presiding over an exodus that will further deter any promising championship targets and PL loanees. Even Rovvruuum players are shunning us if rumours are true.
Unless the club is sold to a serious player with money we are on a downward spiral. Prince hoping Wilder can pull another rabbit out of the hat says it all to me.

I'm beginning to think the same 😒 worried to fuck about next season, I've lost all trust in this shit owner!!

The money for wages has always been there and new contracts with existing players are allowed even under embargo rules.

Him being on bench and getting mentioned on club social media surely an indication of something?
Or are we just whacking him in the shop window to get rid 😂

Sunderland
So what was point of him playing today? Wouldn't be the sort of player we give a send off too, other players available and an odd game to say "sign and you'll get more moments like this".
Think Wilder wouldn't have him near the squad if he wasn't staying

I think we're going to go balls deep into the 'homegrown, academy star' narrative with this one. One of our own, the works. Just ignore that he's Canadian. Regular minutes, not saying anyone better. Balls. Deep.
