Lads we are in the premiership now, if we really want a player from Mainz we can compete. I'm not suggesting we break the bank but at some point we are probably going to have to spend 10m on a forward.

The likes of Adam's, McBurnie this lad are all going to cost that sort of money. If we can afford 4m for Egan on a championship budget we can afford 10m for a centre forward on a premiership budget and I trust Wilder to use it wisely

If we're looking to sign a player like this it needs to be done very quickly - Mateta is in the French U21 squad for this summer's European Championships. If he performs well in Italy then he'll be well out of our reach.

Lee, son of Stuart and ex of this parish, is currently the goal keeping coach at Kaiser Chiefs. South African football at all senior levels isn't that great, although they are in u20's WC later this month.
