Besiktas have made a £2m bid for the Wigan striker. I know we have spent money on strikers and have enough already but if Wigan are willing to sell him for that amount I wonder if other clubs will start to look at him, including us maybe?

Roberts impressed me last season in the Premiership, if we signed him. Imagine the irony though that in 03/04, West Brom and Wigan did a swap between Roberts and Horsfield.

I'm sure there would be more than one premiership club in for him should the price be around £2m, but who knows? It seems now for a change defenders and midfielders are all we're linked with.

can remember when him and nathan ellington ran the league ragged with wigan! i still think we are light of 1 striker and possibly someone with the characteristics of camera we had last season, im waiting eagerly to see what speed can muster up with all the contacts he supposedly has and obviosuly how much budget he has to play with!

Amen brother. It's the midfield that needs sorting IMO, Jordan and Calve will cover the full back problems, and is there any further news on Bodnar?
