Mine is that Ward is an effective player (If used correctly) and has become the latest in an ever increasing list of decent players who's careers have bombed at the Lane.

We really should ALL start to question why this might be. Of more significance these are the type of questions that I believe TB and KMc should be asking.

What price Cheddars being the next one ? Moved on for a pittance to perform very well at a new club. About as frustrating as it gets IMHO that we simply cant get the best out of these lads when others find it relatively easy.

Simply... He wanted a new contract at Bramall Lane, was told to prove himself (which he did for a period) then his hamstring went on him. He didn't get the new contract and threw the dummy out even going publicly via his agent on the contract situation despite signing a 3 and half year deal not 1 year prior.

He has not been the same since then and has not been willing to reach the level he was before for fear of his hamstrings going. However at Derby he was given a carrot and took it, he won't last until October before he's on the sick bed again.

In my opinion Sheffield United should not be catering to clowns like this and if Derby has given him the contract he wanted after the performance in the back end of the season that's their choice, it doesn't make our stance wrong!

Good luck but it's not really a big loss.

I think it's more than a coincidence that news of this sale was announced within hours of Adams's comments that there were some players this season that had cheated the club.
