Murphy would cost about £5m there's no chance

A loan would be possible but I can't see us going for another attacking mid what with Brooks emergence and Thomas showing promise. We don't even play with wingers and we already have Duffy, Carrurthers and Brooks for the attacking midfielder.

I think George has character, just no confidence.
Jamie had confidence (after the first season) but maybe lacking character.

We didn't win every week last year, but I know what you mean. TBH I think we will win more weeks than lose or draw.

True, Murphy was as bad as the rest of the squad at times under Clough.

I think we already have a game changer in Evans. If he can build on his previous form with us and his performance against Walsall.
