He was 6 ft 2 when he was 17, so tall but probably beanpole.

I can genuinely say I have no idea what he's like at football.

We do sometimes pick up young players from other academies mid season. Maybe he's unlikely to be offered a professional deal with Newcastle and is allowed to train with other clubs. Probably more likely to line up for Chris Morgan than Nigel Adkins if this loan happens?

Without knowing the details of his loan and NA's intention for him it's a little difficult to express an opinion but that obviously hasn't stopped some from being critical.

As his signing has not been officially announced by the club I'd be a little surprised if he'll be in contention for a first team role.
