IMO Centre halves should be big and intimidating ,dirty bastards at times. I share the view of Charlie Williams ,who made it quite plain " The ball might go past me, no problems. The man might go past me, no problems BUT
the man and the ball passing me No fucking chance"

There's not much wron with that mentality, and to be fair its been something we've been lacking.

as far as i'm concerned if a centre half partnership works then use it and from what ive heard from pre season and from what i'm hearing on radio sheff it works for us keep playing them together
