I’m no in depth expert on Wilson but if was to be pushed for an opinion I’d say if he didn’t get badly injured he would be playing bottom half Prem and would have cost a sizeable fee.. by sizeable I mean in relation to what we pay for players. he’s not good enough for Man Utd but the fact they still have him says a lot

When I started researching Wilson of manure fame again I notIced they play the same formation as the main team with one up top, Wilson was/is that guy and he’s scored some goals. He’s back fit after his injuries and wilder is the right man for him right now

I've seen Wilson play probably 10 times, and based on that, I can tell you the following.

• His pace isn't blistering, but he's fast. He's quick with the ball too.
• His movement and positioning is excellent, defintely beyond his years in this department.
• His touch is good and coupled with his strength makes him good at holding up the ball.
• He's very composed in front of goal.

Definitely feel he'd offer us something different.

Looks good but one thing I would say is that throughout that video it seemed he was coming short a lot to revive the ball, instead of running the channels. But maybe that's because he was on his debut and just trying to get as many touches as possible

Wilders spell at Northampton was all about triangles and runners. If Wilson comes short we need someone to burst into his space. We need a young Ricky Holmes type and I wonder if wilder sees that in Kent

Yes I would, in terms of his positioning and how he plays without the ball - an area where a lot of players his age struggle in my opinion.

The 3 mentioned were all coming to the end of there contracts looking for a club,
Wilson is in a different game park and been held back by injury.
Wilder s no fool if he wants him he will fit into what he's trying to do..
