We’ve played three games this season with at best a scratch squad in most. One against them.

We’ve not been battered in any of those games.

To suggest we’re only to get weaker after signing MORE players plus McAtee shows how much they know about football.

Maybe stick to wanking over Haaland lads.

I would guess Utd would play better football if they had £1bn+ to spend on players and had a striker on £1m/week. Equally, I'm not sure anyone could turn Ben Osborn into the next Xavi nomatter how much money you throw at him

Suspect it's all the newbies.

I don't really get the "he won't learn anything because they get battered every week". Surely the opposite is true? He's never experienced being on the wrong end of results week-in-week-out, so it'll teach him an awful lot. City also work very hard when they don't have the ball and he'll get plenty of exposure and practice trying to win it back.

Hmmm….the score line maybe didn’t reflect it but I felt City battered us.
Complete control of the game until McB came on, even then he didn’t help us manage to keep the ball or string a few passes together.

Problem is that we can’t keep the ball at the back, so all these teams that now press will dominate possession against us as we always sit deeper to create more space for ourselves then launch it forward to isolated forwards. I’m hoping….really hoping that with McAtee in there as an option it will stick more and he will have the ability and composure to find a team mate.

I’m not saying we should have got him back or anything, just think a moment of remembrance is needed because it was always going to be Mcatee as first choice and Doyle as second. Definitely happy we got our first choice
