Heard that we're signing 17 year old James Kay from AFC Dronfield in the Derbyshire youth league. Supposed to be the next wonder-kid. Anyone know anything about him?

Off Reading's fan forum. Never heard of him but the new Claude Makelele sounds interesting. You can tell the season has finished can't you ?

Nothing more than a rumour, but apparently we and a few League One and Championship clubs have been looking at 17 year old AFC Dronfield 'wonderkid' James Kay, who's been likened to a young Claude Makelele. Sheffield United are supposedly leading the chase for him.


As you were, this seems to stem from Football Rumours - wtf ?
