Wishing him nothing but the best, he was a likeable character and a good keeper for us last season. Next season will be the biggest of his career, needs to pick a club that'll give him regular first team football and support. He could become a top Premier League stopper.

Horrible news for the lad. Fantastic for us last season and shows maturity beyond his years, as Bladesman said he should be no.1 somewhere.

Speedy recovery lad.

The lad is 25, he and his agent should have really looked at another Championship club to go out on loan to. Better still looked to get a perminant move because he shouldn't still be loaned out at that age.

Chelsea and their fucking endless line of loanees. Fair play to the likes of Chalobah for deciding to break away from that system.

Would have been a better move to go somewhere like Rotherham and play every week.

I guess it’s difficult when they offer you enough to set you up for life but, of course, you’re right. Same with Loftus-Cheek, he needs regular football now.

Full leg cast, ouch.

A popular player for us, a real unit in goal, and should be playing everyweek, best wishes for a speedy recovery.

True but then you weigh up football or money. I think its safe to say Jamal is already in a place where is already set for life (same for Loftus-Cheek) and can choose a club to go to without being part of Chelsea's stockpile.

Food for thought for Dean Henderson? Grass isn't always greener and all that. As good as DH is, he's about fifth-choice at Man. U. His agent will tout him around at the end of this season, but why not stay at somewhere he's loved. He's got time to make plenty of money in the game and the fans at teams like Leeds are cunts who would be on his back if he made a few mistakes.

Really sorry to hear that, I liked Jamal and thought he was an excellent keeper. Hope he makes a full recovery soon.

Was it just me or did anyone else find his sending off at Brentford highly amusing?

Mind you, I also thought that the 'Battle of Bramall Lane' against West Brom was funny as well, a warped sense of humour can be misconstrued at times. :( :)

Judging from that photo, there's going to be a national shortage of plaster even before Brexit kicks in.
Really sorry to hear that news. I thought he was excellent last season, and I even got to trusting him not to lose the ball when he decided to dribble. I still think there is a chance that we have been fortunate enough to have had 2 future England keepers at the Lane the last 2 seasons.

Really good keeper for us last season, sad for him and hope he makes a speedy recovery.

I was wondering when it might dawn on the Leeds management that Blackman was a better option than the young lad, Peacock Farrell?

The few Leeds fans I know, are all critical of his ability and reckon he’s already cost them points. Now Jamal’s no longer an option, long may that continue ;)

He’s a far better keeper than Peacock Farrell who they’ve had as number 1 all season. Their fans hate him and have been wanting Blackman in all year, he’s been getting picked due to his better playing ability.

Call me old fashioned I like my keepers to keep the ball out the net first and foremost. This fascination with keepers playing out from the back is giving some absolutely rotten shot stoppers far too much high level gametime.

Complete joke situation all season, he's far better than the kid who keeps letting soft goals in, who's seemingly being picked solely on the basis that he's their own player.

Really bad timing too as there has been a fair few calls for him to come in to replace BPF, I was half expecting Blackman to be in the Leeds squad by the time we play them.

Shame for the lad, I liked him last year.

GLTTL.

Good keeper, very agile and play well for us.

pommpey

I'd have him back if it was perm, imagine having Jam n Hendo at the club, no offence to Moore.

Like Ben Woodburn?

Woodburn has made more appearances this season than Blackman has for L**ds. At least Wilder gave Woodburn chances earlier on the season to see what he was about.

I think Big Jam proved himself enough with us last season yet all L**ds have done is play him in a cup match. That Peacock-Farrell kid is nowt special at this moment in time from what I have seen of him this season.

Hope he recovers quickly. His kicking was crap when he first came to us, hope they set it straight
