Top player, but he's no Egan. Good luck to him, he can solidify any backfour in League One.

If match fit and he hadn't missed the best part of a year, I would actually prefer him to Stearman.

He should be very proud of his time and the critical role he played whilst at Utd. I would have thought he'd make an excellent coach when he finishes playing.

Still Scunny?

A mate knows him as he trains his son at Dronfield. That was the supposed destination a few weeks ago, but may have changed I guess.

Would be a good signing for anyone in League One. He didn’t look out of place when he was in the team last season. How he never played above League Two until we signed him is bizarre.

Guess we've improved on both really now, but a fit and fighting Jake Wright would be worth two Stearman's IMO.

I agree, he was critical in our turn around when we were bottom of L1, and he had a decent spell where he didn't disgrace himself in the championship an all.

He played L1 for Oxford I believe.

Would be a cracking signing for any L1 side imo. Was fantastic for us and exceeded every possible expectation we could have had for him.

We’ve moved past him now with players like Egan and Stearman ahead of him but he used his experience and steadied a shaky defence and delivered time and again for us.

And to be fair I think even a championship side with a young / inexperienced defence could do worse than offer him a deal...

Not sure he's up to Champ level tbh having missed all season so far. If fit and up to speed I think he could do a job in L1 as long as it's in a back 3 - he struggled in a 4 even in L2
