Was he really that good? Looked no better than Louis Reed to me (& a similar sort of player - neat/tidy, not massively effective).

I'm another who liked the look of Elliott though. Like Hanson, decent on the deck & with a footballing brain. Certainly far from being just a battering ram.

I was impressed by him. Particularly first half I thought he was one of the best players on the pitch, always in space, wanting the ball, finding good passes. It would be interesting to see him with other good players. Not needed by us at the moment, but worth keeping an eye on should the need arise.
