Anyone know if Jake Bennett is still with the blades ? Had a bad injury last season after making his debut in the league cup, but I think he was out of contract at the end of the season. I presume he was released but can’t find any confirmation.

Still shown as a Blade on Soccerbase , however that site can take anything from 2 hours to 2 years to update , he did well in the cup match.

His Twitter says he’s still with us however, it looks like he had a serious knee injury and some point last year

He was warming up on the Stocksbridge pitch with the U23s on 24 August. Even though he was not on the Teamsheet. He sat in the stand to watch the game (with David Parkhouse). One of the Carrier Bag Firm spoke to him. I think he said he was about two weeks away from fitness.
