OH SHIT! :D

Get in, who needs Jags Nyron is the one for me.
Come on it will make Saturday's exciting again. Will he slice the ball into his own net, will he totally miss the ball, hope he's still got his 50p shaped head.
Heart in mouth is back 2017.

Him whose tweet he was replying to seems to have issues :) Just tweets fuck off and cunt messages to Tories. Comes across about 13.

Well he does seem something of a cunt, spouting stereotypical nationalist drivel complete with flag. Yeah, something approaching a cunt I'd say.

Wow wow wow

'Meanwhile, The Star understands (from reading 34 pages of shit on S24SU and based on little other facts) that rumours of an imminent return for former Blade Phil Jagielka, now of Everton, are wide of the mark. Wilder has based his recruitment strategy so far on signing young players on the way up, and is also keen to not disrupt the pay structure at Bramall Lane. The former England international turns 35 in August.'

FAKE NEWS.

Let me guess....is it the same bloke who wrote the other opinion based article by chance?
They are making comment because they think Wilder wouldn't sign him because he's only signed young players before. Ignoring Clarke...for example

Perhaps a grim reminder of how dangerous the close season can be in the modern day.

Frenzied internet rumours and no football to watch = people getting carried away and believing things that probably won't come to fruition.

Newly promoted second division side signing a very-recent England international? Probably shedding two thirds of his pay just to play for SUFC again because he loves us so much?

It's a great story. Too good to be true.

Happy to eat my words if it does come off, but people like Biggs would love to be the ones to fuel this particular fire if there was summet in it, and they're doing quite the opposite.

Surely when the bookies start advertising a rumour, that's a definite sign it's NOT happening... why would they plaster something allover twitter, making people bet on it, then have to pay out on if it does happen?

Can't be gutted over something I thought was too good to be true. Time to close the thread.

Did anyone really believe there was ever going to be anything in this!? If he did leave Everton, I would think the bottom 8 teams in the Prem for starters would be interested, It would only be loyalty to us that would have given us a chance. Isn't he still under contract at Everton anyway?

This is the issue with the bullshit twitter accounts etc. Unless It's well known journo give it a miss I say

I said all along we had no chance of signing jagielka - but enough people spout off about it and make up rubbish. The rumour takes a life of its own and then it becomes a failing of the club when it doesn't come off - even though it was never gonna happen.

Nothing wrong with speculating and thinking about who you'd like to sign but find it odd people make stuff up. It ends up being detrimental to the club.

He is on 60k a week, he was never coming here.

Those twitter accounts are all click bait.

Or have sky added weight to the rumour which has encouraged loads to have a flutter thinking it's a quick way of making a few quid at a well known bookies called sky bet?

Cynical I know, but just a thought
