Not a wimper about it on radio Sheffield, and Steve Bruce is reportedly after him. But again, just twitter talk.
 



Is it all about the money, money, money for Jags though? He doesn't strike me as the greedy, football mercenary type and will be comfortable for the rest of his life on what he has made already, (although I could obviously be wrong!)....it's no secret that he wants to come back to BDTBL in some form and if he wants to do his coaching badges whilst still playing and we can facilitate that then why not?

Jags knows first hand that we have one of the best run academy set ups in the country and may feel that he wants to put something back into the establishment that launched his fantastic career.

But if he is looking for one last 2-year lucrative contract then we don't stand a chance!
 
My own theory as to why Radio Sheffield and The Star haven't reported on anything yet, is maybe due to them getting a bollocking after leaking the Evans deal. The club, if this is happening, will understandably be keeping their cards very close to their chest.

Do us all a favour mate and cut out the more logical suggestions, I and many others don't like them.

Chip shop Dave has already heard first hand it's happening so just cut it out. :)
 
Just spoke to my ITK. He hasn't heard about Jags coming to us and doubts that he would take a big wage cut
 
It's not about wages though, it's about the value of the contract. If we offer, for example, a 4 year contract that includes 2 years coaching duties, that could be of greater value to him than a 2 year playing deal elsewhere.

Stick to what you do best, identifying pictures of a player from 1946 who managed just one minute of Central League football after he was demobbed from the army and was then transferred to Worksop Town (that's a made up example, don't spend too much time in the library looking for a player you've missed :-))
