Jack Robinson

How the hell did forest fan get near Jack Robinson outside ground. We couldn't go anywhere near away players at Bramall after matches this season. We were banished to top corner of carpark if did manage to get near players for an autograph over zealous stewards there looking daggers at you or sending players out of other gate to avoid fans

I'm not sure why Jack Robinson is treated any differently than McBurnie. What the fuck is he doing engaging with away fans? Unlike McBurnie, all he needed to to was walk to the coach. And yet, puts himself in a potential situation. Stupid.

Don’t you just love it when a player works hard, battles through fan criticism (and I was one) and proves everyone wrong...I didn’t think he would last the 90 mins last night but thought he was outstanding....as he has been through the last third of the season....definitely nailed the shirt for next season...
Yep it’s fantastic. It’s rare that dig players out too much after their performances but those performances by Robbo at the start of the season were amongst the worst I’ve seen and his name on the team sheet was enough to kill my excitement. West Brom away he was awful. And soon after that I thought he was done.

But what a turn around and as you say, it’s brilliant to see, shows what we all know on here. Proud of him

Pretty sure someone said on one of the videos that he was a brother of a forest player who’d thrown a coin 🤷🏻‍♂️

Overall I do like Robinson, he puts a shift in and his effort levels are up there with the best of them (Basham). One thing that I would say though is that the long throw in is rubbish 😂 we haven't even nearly scored from one all season.

Other long throw specialists seem to whip them in like a cross and the defenders go to pieces (us Vs West Brom at start of season for example).

Robinson's long throws seem to just float in, I remain to be convinced we aren't better off just taking a normal throw in.

When he encounters any Forest fans…

“I will hurt you, I’ll desert you, I am Jackie (long throw) down the line”

You can tell he can look after himself with how he plays. Not the biggest but shirks nothing.
He was in great form at the end of last season, really hope he returns in a similar vein. We could really do with him right now.
He got better and better as the season went on.

Based on past form I'm a bit fearful because he could come back in all guns blazing how he was at the back end of last season or it could be the sort of thing that goes on a Christmas bloopers DVD presented by Neil Ruddock

He's definitely our dirtiest player. Loves a challenge. Often they're borderline.

"...You can tell he can look after himself..."

Said it before, when Wes was being interviewed for one of those light hearted videos that they show on Youtube and Twitter, questions like "who is the joker in the dressing room?", "who is the most untidy", and stuff like that, when he was asked, "who is the toughest?", he said (without any hesitation) "Jack Robinson and David McGoldrick".

Hopefully fit enough to start tomorrow with RND back to his favoured position.

Hasnt Robinson played most of his career at full back btw?
A wolves I took to a game early last year was gobsmacked that we were playing him at LCB. He seemed to get better at it though so I'd start him LCB and RND at LWB. If you know what I mean?

He was abysmal at Coventry last season. I’d leave him out for that reason alone.

If JLT isn't fit enough to start, I'd prefer Bash to play on the left with Anel at RCB. I'd rather RND played at LWB than Ozzy.
I think Bash's last decent game was actually on the left!
Midfield is concerning. We look very light with no Berge in there. We need some physicality and athleticism in the middle to compensate for Norwood's total lack of either.
Hope McBurnie and Ndiaye start up front too.

Agree with that. Rather Anel rampage down the right and Basham focus on the basics though Robbo or Clark on the left give more balance. Robbo probably better at complimenting the attack. Plus his long throw is a weapon we need to consider using of McBurnie and Anel are in there too.

It's a pity Coulibaly arrived with an injury and we should be asking questions of Beerschot in that regard. An asset was lent to them and then discovered he needed more medical attention, you kind of expect better especially within the same footballing group.

It would seem an idea time for him to have been knocking on the door. A 6 foot athlete is what this side needs. It's what Norwood needs. Doyle is very similar to him. He just adds more of the same rather than making up for bay shortfalls. This works when we have the ball but we are weaker without the ball than when say Fleck is in there.

Egan was dreadful that day too.

He owes us a decent performance against Gyokeres after that horror show.
Yeah he was. Gordon also played so the less said about that the better. Egan just isn’t as good as many think he is. I like him, he’s solid and I’m happy with him. He’d get exposed regularly in the top flight though.

Egans getting exposed this season as well, don't know if it's who's playing at the side of him or if he's on the slide! Anel makes all the difference when he plays, think we might have a problem holding onto him when the transfer window opens.
