Fair play to him

Was ridiculed early in the season, and to be fair he was struggling

But he’s been brilliant for the last few games

And today was immense

Some great blocks, an assist for the winner and his ‘bump’ into their lad who was nipping at Sharp, sticking up for your team mate was the “you nob head” warning to put him in his place

Reckon he’s realised he’s no cultured defender, but he’s been a rock next to Egan of late

Good lad, keep it up.

I love the way he steps out of defence to intercept passes to attackers. Fair fucking play JLT.

Before tonight he was MOTM vs WBA, Huddersfield and possibly Hull. He's been that good it's completely eclipsed how shocking he was.

Definitely earnt a 1yr extension at least, but I expect there'll be plenty of Championship clubs who would give him 2 years on current form alone.

He was decent against Fulham as well?

Even earlier in the season he would look solid enough, it was just that when he made a mistake it was a huge fucking one which cost us goals n games time after time. Quite rightly he was criticised for them as you can't keep dropping bollock after bollock in professional sport. He was a liability. Recently though and maybe with his confidence coming back, he's cut out the stupid mistakes and just looked solid. Fair play to him. Keep it up til the end of the season and he could be worth a new 2 year contract being offered.

This isn't very profound and it's late/early. But there's something great isn't there, and very Blades, about someone who's wank, who then becomes good. For some reason, it makes them better to us than someone who's just good to start with. The Booker effect. Coutts. And quite a few of ours at the minute, but no more than our Jackie Long Throw, who has realised it's far more effective to tackle opposition players than our own. Good lad. Nanight.

Didn’t think he was at his recent best last night, but that just proves how much he has improved. I like the addition of the massive bath towel for the long throws too.
