Must have thought the ball had gone out for a goal kick - he looks away at a teammate then when he looks back another Birmingham player is possibly in his eyeline for where the keeper picks the ball up. Not making excuses for him, it's a ridiculous gaffe - would be up there with Luke Thomas losing an uncontested drop ball for us as all-time boneheaded plays had he done it for us.

That clip is great. Love the way Peck does a proper double-take. I also can't see a single Birmingham fan react to it!

There was a 70% chance that Jack Robinson would have belted the ball into the empty net, so the handball should have been denial of an obvious goalscoring opportunity.
