I think the January transfer window excuse is a bit of an urban myth.

I also don’t buy wilder wanting to wait till the summer. He never sits still or wants to. Last January we brought players in to kick on, albeit it loans mostly but there should be money available to kick on this January. Squad is not good enough to sit still

Robinson is out of contract at Forest in the summer so a 6 month deal looks likely. If he impresses he gets a longer contract. Just like the Rodwell deal.
