He also came in and played pretty well at the backend of the Prem relegation season. Maybe that's it, only pick him after February.

I think its all about playing regularly. He was in out of the team with injury at the start of the season.

Applies to most of the squad, the more games they play the more settled they look in their role.

He reminds me of an 80s/90s player, no shirking challenges and no fucks given when he gets knacked - a bit of a Carl Bradshaw type.

I remember once against Forest Bradshaw/Pearce crunched each other and both got up and carried on, several times during the game - wouldn't happen now.
I remember the home game v Forest in 90/91 (the first win of the season) and Pearce knocked the ball into touch rather than go into a challenge with Bradshaw.

Lovely to watch.
A proper old-fashioned tackle & what surprised me most was that their player bounced straight up & got on with the game. There’d be plenty who’d try & set a new roly-poly record so fair play to him.

Yep fair play to Pedro Porro. Got right back up and on with the match.

He keeps getting better and better, a little shaky after he’s been out for a few games but once he’s settled, he’s class. I’ll make a prediction - If he sticks with the club, then he's got a good chance of getting to the Morgan & Basham levels in terms of how supporters view them.

Have to hold my hand up as I said I'd prefer Robbo to not play against Spurs as I thought he'd be risky of seeing a red card. Being up against such quick players and in a weakened defence I thought it would frustrate him into a couple of naughty fouls. I didn't want us to lose him for the league games as he's been so good lately. He was awesome last night. Looks like he's loving it at the moment.

Agree ! if you look at his history he has not really had a good run at it through his career. Bad injury cost him his place at pool, every club he has played for injuries have burdened him ! He is so wholehearted that probably has cost him.
Everything goes in doasnt know how to pull out.
Hopefully this time he can stay away from injury he will be great for us if he can.
Nearest we will ever see to a Chris Morgan ?.
