He has posted on his twitter showing him on a bike inside a clear tent at some boxing place recentlyNoticed he’s not been to active on social either and not shared any posts of him training since December?
That’s positive! He has posted on his twitter showing him on a bike inside a clear tent at some boxing place recently
Which medical staff have paid with their jobs?Cheers for the heads up If that is the case I feel for the guy but why don’t the club tell the fans and why was he played at the end of last season. Our medical team have some serious questions to answer and it appears they have paid with their jobs.
let’s hope that we have decent insurance cover in place
The club briefed recently that they are putting no timescale for his return.Which medical staff have paid with their jobs?
Why not just try RND at LCB next season? The left back position is probably the one position with the best cover in terms of numbers and options, the blindingly obvious thing, is that none of them can provide what JOC can, at either end of the pitch, in no particular order, Robinson, Bryan, Enda, Lowe, we even went to the trouble cutting Norrington-Davis's loan from Luton short and moving him to Stoke) even tried Bash at left back and left Lowe on the bench.
He left after Wilder as did the goalkeeping coach and performance specialist, think they walked and not pushedMatt Prestridge, head of sport science who I assume liaised with the external consultants involved in decisions on JOC playing and fitness rehab
if we stick with 3 at the back i agree with you bob norrington-davies would be worth trying thereWhy not just try RND at LCB next season?
It was rumoured that it was the position we saw for him long term.
If JoC does come back then he gets to learn from the best player we have who just happens to play the role he needs to learn.
I agree, but suspect the board would need to see movement out, even if its a season long loan,, or someone is doing some deep thinking re Robinson covering Egan ?Why not just try RND at LCB next season?

I can’t see RND not being with us next season. He’s already played at the levels below us, including lower Championship. The only move now is to our level and as we’re here it’ll be with us. To be honest my doubt is if he can live up to some fans expectations, and I think playing with the protection of Egan and Bash possibly even Stevens next to him can only help his development.I agree, but suspect the board would need to see movement out, even if its a season long loan,, or someone is doing some deep thinking re Robinson covering Egan ?

But what about the answer above from Scarebus quoting Wilder. Don't get me wrong I agree he got a lot wrong in that window but I don't think he expected Brewster to be such a flop & be sitting on the bench . My opinion from last season was that we didn't create enough good chances & midfield needed more creativity etcDid not need a crystal ball to know that we had lots of keepers, LWB and strikers but no cover for JOC and minimal Midfield players.
according to the quoted article Wilder knew we needed additional cover but still bought Brewster to sit on the bench and Lowes fee could have contributed to a loan.
yes it is easy to be critical but Wilder scored an own goal with his transfer dealings and squad makeup last season.
I supported him in numerous arguments with friends but eventually gave up as the evidence was overwhelming.
Huge ask. Slater is probably best staying at Hull, if it’s an option, to try to nail down that first team place. He initially struggled to have an impact but did much better towards the end of the season.RND might be the closest one in terms of slotting in, the big question is can Ndiaye, Brunt, Slater or Coulibaly follow suit and cover the departure of Lundstrom and Berge
Re Coulibaly, not seen enough of him to judge (who has) just going on the reports last January that a path/move was possible, for whatever reason that option wasn't explored, deemed not good enough, too raw, wouldn't contribute straight away, who knowsHuge ask. Coulibaly has been woefully inconsistent but strangely we’ve a better opportunity to get him over this season than next if he doesn’t play 90% of games as he gets bonus points for his debut seasonIf he plays like he has done this season he’ll not be eligible for a permit.
If we’re not looking for promotion he could possibly play DCM but we should be looking to loan experienced players so their longer term progression isn’t negatively impacted.
Purple rain has and he’s not being getting picked. He’s a kid so he’s going to be inconsistent so needs more game time but I don’t think he’s going to be a starter for us next year.Re Coulibaly, not seen enough of him to judge (who has) just going on the reports last January that a path/move was possible, for whatever reason that option wasn't explored, deemed not good enough, too raw, wouldn't contribute straight away, who knows
Whoever the new manager is, there is a lot of work and not much time to look at available options, moving some out and getting the right ones in on lian or transferPurple rain has and he’s not being getting picked. But harsh on poor Lian but I agree.Whoever the new manager is, there is a lot of work and not much time to look at available options, moving some out and getting the right ones in on lian or transfer
Typo should be loanBut harsh on poor Lian but I agree.
I don't get this theory the medical team was sacked, if your right re playing him when he was injured, he isn't the first and won't be the last, but let's say they did make a mistake,,he was out after the first game, why wait till January to sack them? Pretty sure the medical team would have explored every avenue re independent specialists etcI don't think medical team got sacked because of JOCs issue. But knowing he wasn't right at tail end of last season and still playing him into first few games of this season... I wonder if there's any precedence of players getting compensation for clubs mismanaging injuries?

Like I have said already, someone really dropped a bollock with JOC's injury. It was clear at the end of last season he was struggling.
Have a feeling he might have to retireI’ll share what I was told from another pro at another club who has good links to united.
I’ve shared this on another thread.. don’t think it was this one..
Jack was told to have an op and take 2 years out or retire. Simple as that.
there is potential stem cell treatment but that is unproven.
was also told this copied and pasted”
“apparently if you’re not available for 18 month for selection club can cut your wage -25% so that plus -50% coming down this season means could be on 25% of salary”
Think you misread my post. Was saying DONT think medical team were sacked because of this.
