I can be arsed to look :) and this is from our own website before I get shot down

Assists

Baxter 4 in 16 league games
McEverley (yes indeed) 3 in 14
Adams 3 in 15
Sharp 3 in 23
JCR 0 in 13 league games. 2 in the cup though
McEverley got an assist for Sharps goal the other day ,assists mean fuck all really.

All potentially useful players but for different reasons haven't been able to produce it consistently. I agree that it's probably best to let them go and free up some budgetary space. A fair few others need to follow them out the door.

Because he's an arse who's had too many chances. I think he'll play a few games to get in the shop window and we will flog him. I don't think he will (or should) be forgiven for his latest fuck up.

UTB

To clarify, what was his latest fuck up?

I disagree he should leave, but fear he will.

His off field behaviour can't be good for team morale. He compromised all the other players with his antics in Dublin.

Shoving a glass in someones face for no apparent reason. From the mouth of one of the players who was there.

I feel sorry for Scougall but he'll do well back in Scotland if not at Burton or Pompey. Funny how things turn out, I always preferred Holt to Scougall and see he scored two more for Rangers this week. I wonder what would have happened if it had been Scougall on loan and not Holt. Would Holt have made it with us or still too small ?

Holt certainly knows where the back of the net is Andover.

I can't say I am overly surprised if this is confirmed to be true in all fairness.

JCR has always been a frustrating one for me. You see the odd bit of flare and quality from him that reminds us that he used to be a right pain in the arse and in spells he is capable of perhaps showing us all a bit of this. If the truth be said however, JCR is ridiculously inconsistent and in my opinion he tends to frustrate me more than he impresses me. Such basics as beating the man and getting the ball in the box for instance. The majority of the time if he beats his man he cuts back again losing the advantage before attempting to go again, if he does put the ball in then it isn't always of the best quality. He's done a job to an extent but he isn't delivering the quality.

Scougall was a real favourite of mine when he burst on the scene. Initially he was thought to be a squad rotation player or one for the future however he was given a shot and he took his chance. I used to love watching Scougall pick the ball up and make direct drives towards the 18 yard box, I would go as far as saying that teams couldn't handle him at one point. He received a few heavy knocks though at times and then he became injured and in all fairness I don't think we have seen half the player since. At the end of the day you have to be blunt and realistic, is Scougall going to win a shirt and hold down a place? Probably not, therefore he has to be allowed to leave.

James Wallace. Not much to say really other than his number of appearances speaks for itself in the value for money stakes. Again he looks a player who could potentially have some potential about him however he isn't playing, therefore he just picks up a wage and prevents us from making additions elsewhere. On this basis sorry but he has to go.

Why stop here? Several others are more than dispensable.

Scougalls shown glimpses of his former self, but doesn't seem good enough and is probably a good example of those players who we could keep but need to be more ruthless about. The only thing I'd bare in mind is he's still very young.

Wallace is quality as we all know, and I'd love to think he could turn it around but that's probably wishful thinking.

Campbell Ryce frustrates me and isn't very good, happily see him go. Behind Coutts and Flynn among others, I'd even play Freeman on the right. We do need a new winger though.

Personally I would be looking to get Freeman off the wage bill too. He always appears to do well on first look, but when you review it, it's usually making up for a mistake or being out of position. Flynn and Basham (played there a few times for blackpool) can cover Brayford IMO. We are a 3rd division team, so can't afford to have 2 players for every position, we need a strong 15 with the rest of the squad being flexi.

Can't argue with Scoogs and Wallace, JCR might be wages

Good news if its true, Scougs had a handful of decent games, Wallace has never been fit and JCR has delivered a handful of crosses in the time hes been here.

Any news on Collins going too?

He'd have assists if Sammon could finish a bag of crisps.

Sad about JCR if true. But got to trust the manager on this. There's clearly got to be a clear-out - so long as it doesn't involve Brayford or Matt Done then c'est la vie.

Of course they done, when they don't fit with your agenda, at least.
Go on whats my agenda then ,I like McEverley. Its a false statistic ,a route one team could have the goalie as top assister.

Heard the other day that Collins is to be made Club Captain ;)

It wouldn't surprise me. We'll get Phipps moaning about Clough at the end of the season and Collins crying again when we don't go up.

only surprise out of those 3 is JCR. Always thought he was a decent impact player from the bench so hopefully this means there is a replacement lined up. Scougall - its probably time he dropped a level to see if he can get more game time, as for J Wallace, got to feel sorry for him but it's interesting that Cuvelier seems to be higher up the pecking order for Adkins

Age, plus Cuvelier isn't a bad player just never got a chance because of injury and Clough was a racist remember?

For what its worth I would keep all 3 ,there are at least 8 or 9 would be on their way first.

Yes, including a couple of young Bladey favourites who, as I have repeatedly said, to much s2 derision, are not going to make it at this level. Anyone fancy bench duty at Northampton or Cambridge?....

Ironside.........Ironside.
