Small world, I haven't either. Oh apart from Chris Waddle in 92 while watching Rangers beat Dirties in the CL. He offered to buy me a drink but had to turn it down. As I explained, my Mum had always warned me to never accept drinks from strange pigs

Used to talk to Brian Gayle and Jamie Hoyland regularly when I worked at Sainsburys at Millhouses in the early 90's.
We also lived next door to Adrian Littlejohn and his family for a while, really lovely people despite the thick brummie accents!

I have .

I've had chats with Joe Shaw !!!!!! , Tony Currie !!!!!!! , Len Badger , Ted Hemsley , Geoff Salmons , Glen Cockerill , Keith Edwards , Jack Lester and a number of other Blades heroes.

I also had chats with John Hassall , Harry Haslam , Derek Dooley , Dave Bassett , Paul Woolhouse and Steve Hinchcliffe , two of whom I told they didn't have a fucking clue what they were talking about .

I've had chats with quite a few over the years. Very often they come across as very different from their on-field persona.

I said hi to paddy kenny at the monkey park in Tenerife

I spoke to carl asaba in a tesco the week after he signed, told him i fancied him for league top scorer, a day in my early life that contritubuted to my destiny of knowing fuck all about football

I showered next to Georges Santos after a Football Aid game at the Lane and had a chat about football. It was pretty brief because I was fucking petrified

I had a long talk with Steve Charles and got his autograph when we were in Division 4.
The full conversation went something like "Can I have your autograph, please" and he replied "Yes".

I used to chat to a few circa 2005/2006. Worked in a Tesco where they all used to shop. Jon Harley was forever in buying dry food for his dog.

Chatted to him on numerous occasions to the point where he started asking me if I was coming along on Saturday. Made me feel reyt important :D
