Looks like he's on his way..........

Bolton's Spanish veteran Ivan Campo is heading to Sheffield United where manager Bryan Robson plans to make him his new midfield general.

Campo is out of favour at The Reebok and Wanderers boss Sammy Lee will let him go if the right move comes along - and the Blades are in negotiations.

good player think he will rip this league apart even though hes about 45,he can't half hit a ball aswell.

Great effort. There's a massive lack of young and available "midfield generals" so I'm more than happy to take him despite his age.

Great player, if he came we would at last have a defensive type midfield player who can actually pass a ball.

We need better than Monty and Leggy.

would be a decent signing for us.

keep monty for back up and offload leggy.

From the Star...

BRYAN ROBSON has refused to rule-out speculation that he is attempting to sign Ivan Campo from Bolton Wanderers.

The Sheffield United manager, whose side reached the third round of the Carling Cup courtesy of an extra time victory at MK Dons last night, confirmed his intention to hold talks with the former Real Madrid star's team mate Stelios later this week but pointedly dismissed questions regarding reports that he is also interested in luring Campo to Bramall Lane.

in the sun tday weve bin linked with gravesen again because it look as if stelios is snubbin us

Bolton Wanderers midfielder Ivan Campo has rejected a loan move to Sheffield United.
Blades manager Bryan Robson was hoping to lure the Spaniard to Bramall Lane to boost his side's chances of an immediate return to the Premier League.

But Bolton's former Real Madrid utility player, 33, is not prepared to drop down to the Championship.

Campo is the second Trotters player to reject Robbo - winger Stelios, 33, snubbed a transfer last week.

Not looking good.
Leeds are trying to get Graham Kavanagh on loan. Let's pip them to it. The calm head we could do with in the centre.

Bit of a shame about Side Show Bob I mean Campo..
but we have to move on now

and find the midfielder that will come to us

It would be nice, but are these rags that think we are ambitious the same ones that think we'll throw our promotion chances away by flogging Beattie to Middlesboro?

Some say £500k and a wage cut...

Sounds a bit far fetched to me! :), surely even Megson rates him better than that?
