to make a change. I've seen so many teams go down because they were too slow to change the manager. Wilder looks and sounds defeated. His team selections and substitutions are baffling. Bryan, McBurnie, Norwood should never have played tonight. I still believe with Brewster, Mousset and Burke up front, we can stay up. Berge in the holding role where he is best suited, Osborne far more game time. There's one man who can change all this, instil confidence in this group of players. He's been there and done it before. Big Sam. I expect a whole lot of abuse but I love this football club and we're down if we carry on as we are.

I dont think CW is unsackable, and should we get to Jan without a win, i think we should respectfully ask him to go, but for everything he has brought us, it deserves respect to be there.
I’d say that’s a very reasonable response. However, we’ve literally broken the record for the worst PL start in history. I don’t know about you, but I take that as a sign of things to come.

Too many people are relying on sentiment and they’d happily see us go down under CW, then let it continue in the Championship.

Some people have a very poor attitude to change, there are so many deluded ‘fans’ on here, they’d happily let CW take us back down to League 1 because ‘he’s earned it’.

Personally, I’d rather change things now and stay in the PL, but what do I know? Clearly I’m just one of those lot from over at S6.

Gosh - it's been quite obvious since day after bouncing day that the pigs were worried about United and CW, but there now seems to be a concerted effort to destabilise everything that CW has put together.

Interesting times on this forum.............

UTB

PS: it won't work by the way.

Wilder’s number one target summer 2019 was Maupay, we could pay the transfer fee but couldnt get anywhere near what Brighton offered in wages, same with Watkins and Villa, until we get an owner with some proper money we will struggle, however Wilder is the best we can get by a million miles, Pigs on here are funny 😂

good try birley🐷 but your not foolin anybody on here and even if we go down which looks likely i would still sooner watch a chris wilder team than pullisparkthebushoof haha youve got to watch that rubbish for another two and arf years 🤣🤣🤣

Nailed it fuck off back to Pork Talk and discuss Pulisball

good try birley🐷
Howling with laughter at those hilarious comments. Hope you get those couple of likes you seek.

Both without argument, both deluded and both probably over the age of 60, in which you should both put the phone down and prepare for your bed baths.

You’re not that clever are you Birley, let me guess your name on Pork Talk, wouldn’t be Birley Owl by any chance would it😂😂😂😂

Im not of the Facebook generation unlike yourself and crave after likes and attention you should know that seeing how you like to think you know everything. What is a bed bath btw

Now as I said do us all a favour and fuck off back to Porktalk you are not very good at being a closet pig on here
Its nice you are obsessed with us but I think you are in deeper shit than us and I would worry about that
We are fine with our manager Wilder the one all you Pigs have been oh so jealous of and wanted your own Wilder clone

The giveaway is the use of ”Big”

They love their ’Bigs’ down there. Big Ron, Big Jack and numerous others. He ain’t no good if you can’t call him Big.
They certainly do. So many of their handles on NKT also begin with ‘Big’, but I suspect that a lot of the ‘Big’ brigade would actually struggle to see over little Jimmy Cranky’s shoulders.

Unfortunately Baz, you’re not that intelligent either.

When you’re approaching 60, the mind starts to forget little things that it once remembered. Must be quite irritating, I can’t relate. One of those little things you seem to forget is that being a fairly decent sized area of Sheffield, Birley is likely to have a couple of thousand football fans from either side of the city. It’s probably highly likely there’s a ‘Birley Owl’, you’ve probably researched it, you seem sad enough.

Must be me, eh.

Barry im a massive Wilder fan and will stick by him until a minimum of Xmas next year and then the only reason to look again would be if we are lower table championship.

However I'm going to take partial issue on the wages debate. Only partial issue mind you as we are the Premier League paupers.I accept we cant compete on wages but have we used our firepower that wisely?

For example Villa do have more money than us but on the face of it Dean Smith is using it better than we are.

Watkins or Brewster and McBurnie?
Cash or Bogle and Lowe ?
Martinez or Ramsdale ?

Jagielka and Rodwell salaries added together are widely reported to be taking 60k a week out of the club.

Now in whole Premiership scheme of things thats not big at all but for a club with limited resources its a terrible waste of money. This where I feel CW has underperformed

It doesn’t work that simple mate, you don’t go into signing a player thinking about a million other potential scenarios, the simple fact is Wilder needs a squad of 25 and yes that needs padding out with Jags etc"........You’re saying let’s just have 11 players on 80K per week and if we have injuries let’s just play with 6 men!!

That's ageist.. Apologise.

When I had a look the other day one of your first postings was to slag Wilder off and that was back in Feb.

So I’ve worked out the following.

It’s either

- A pig who hasn’t got anything better to do with your life

- Wilder once shagged your missus

Add us to the list. Not only do we have a clueless manager, but an owner with no bottle to do anything about it.

We’re heading towards the Championship, time to switch things up, and fast.

The longer you persist, the worse it gets.
Ever thought of working for Kodak? You are always full of negatives!

Some decent ground bait that. But I won't bite.

I heard that Maupay was all ready to sign and had agreed terms, shirt on the pitch etc. And the agent phoned CW and asked for what he described as a sweetener.
Wilder obviously told him to do one.

Not the best source but a decent one.

Whilst it is acknowledged that we pay low wages in this division there is no doubt that as a matter of principal we refuse to bend over to agents demands.

Suggesting Big Sam to replace Wilder is fucking ridiculous.

Make it Pardew, Cotterill, or Boothroyd and you can count me in 😍

I heard something that Maupay wanted a extra 5000 a week off someone who knows someone close to the club. But I don't know what to believe, everyone claims to knows something don't they.

The Prince is the problem he hasn’t got the money to compete, we’re still the lowest payers in the league....

You are correct
But there are many players available, or have been available that would be on bigger wages but without the €20 odd million transfer fees.

Our low wage bill is a badge of honour, we take great pride in doing it for less.

Problem is we don't do it, not for long anyway

its an interesting point youve brought up there jj weve paid the fees but to players that would accept a low salary maybe we should have done it the other way round who knows

We certainly won’t have as much money to spend when/if we drop into the Championship where everyone expects (in some entitled sense) that we will come straight back up.

Those planning how great we will be in the Championship are really underestimating the challenge when some of our new signings on higher wages are binned off and the old school head off for a well earned retirement.

Guess we will rely on our great recruitment

Just an alternative look at things.

Young £20 odd million players arriving is exciting.

But young players like McBurnie, Brewster and Berge can arrive at an established Premier League club, be given time to settle, learn, and then have the freedom to show what they can do.

But we've spent so much on them that they are under pressure to produce before they've learned the ropes.

Why would you expect a lot of abuse?? Coming out with shite like that🤭. The successor you’ve mentioned was sacked by the FA for accepting big brown envelopes 🤭👎

well im guessing at least 2 out of the 3 that went down last season will be going back up so i think we would have every chance of doing the same cw/ak have done it once you know they know what it takes i would fancy us strongly
