to make a change. I've seen so many teams go down because they were too slow to change the manager. Wilder looks and sounds defeated. His team selections and substitutions are baffling. Bryan, McBurnie, Norwood should never have played tonight. I still believe with Brewster, Mousset and Burke up front, we can stay up. Berge in the holding role where he is best suited, Osborne far more game time. There's one man who can change all this, instil confidence in this group of players. He's been there and done it before. Big Sam. I expect a whole lot of abuse but I love this football club and we're down if we carry on as we are.

Who would you have played instead of Bryan?
Mcburnie had a good first half and was needed if nothing else to counter their Ariel challenge. Norwood is the only one I agree with but that would have meant Lundstram coming in on the right of midfield and although he played well when he came in his previous performances have been dire.
As for Big Sam ????

Not the first time he's suggested this. I think he's his agent.

So many deluded people on here thinking things are suddenly going to change and if you dare to suggest a new way, you get called a pig.
Ok then. Let's go on doing the same things week in week out. See you at Millwall next season if that's the case.

In the early nineties which I'm sure the OP won't remember, we didn't win a match till the Saturday before Xmas beating forest at home in one of the most memorable matches at the lane ever.we never called for Dave Bassett head then like we shouldn't call for CWAK's now.
We got out of the relegation zone then as well ,we can do it now ! UTB.

If only we could go and stand in the middle of that Kop and suck the ball into the net like we did that day.

Dear Mr Allardyce,
Thanks for your letter - for a moment you almost had us there.
Your research is good & actually your suggestions about players & formations will gain some agreement on here.
It was the bit when you suggested we bring in ‘Big Sam’ that made us suspicious, pointing out that sides wait too long before appointing you..... Clever, but we’re not THAT desperate.
Appreciate you’ve been out of the game now for a good while & hope you find a job somewhere else soon.
Actually, that last bit is a lie.
TTFN

You have rose-tinted memories. People definitely did call for Bassett’s head then. They were wrong (in my opinion), as was proved right when things turned around. And I think calls for Wilder to go are wrong (again, my opinion, as I think things will turn around). The point is that things don’t really change - it’s the same as it’s always been.

Wheee wheeee wheeeee Oink oink oink 🐷🐷🐷 If only Pulis was available eh

Big Sam????? Give me fucking strength! Exactly the sort of move that would see us back in L1! If we go down, we stick with CWAK & build slowly. It’s a long game 👊

Which Ariel is that, then? The Little Mermaid or the one in The Tempest?

Sorry couldn't resist ;)

We keep Wilder while he wants to stay.

Was a reasonable post until that, I assume you've been reading the forum gathered the info regurgitated it and then drop the S bomb in there to see if we were still awake.
