reading threads is really making me quite depressed. Blame is a wonderful thing and people seem to put it in so many different players.
1. How can it be mccabes fault?? ok, we may have had false hopes of funds but that bares no relevance to what the players are doing on the pitch. I dont care what lithuanian 3rd division club he is taking over, it does not affect the 11 that cross the white line. With a detiorating team and a tough financial climate i can understand why he isnt investing personally.
2. How can it be speeds fault?? i know not many are blaming him, but hes been left with a squad that would be better placed in a playground. The football is better, just no goals, not his fault that boggy (for example) has missed a couple of chances any 2nd tier striker should be scoring in the last couple of games.
3. It HAS to be the players. the fact is they are not good enough and those that should be good enough are underperforming. We have to give the likes of slew a go, there are too many people in this team that know there is no competition for their place.
We wont go down this year, but its going to be a very average years. But before you slag me off too much for this, ill be there home and away every game anyway!! lets face it, the only alternative is shopping with the other half :S
