I am fairly sure he got one in the epic Monday Night Football 3-2 win over West Ham from 93/94. Whitehouse scored the first I think with a rocket of a shot. Gayle I think got a header. Rogers I think scrambled one in – can’t remember if his or Gayle’s was the winner.

Aye, I think Rogers got the equaliser, although I seem to remember that the announcement over the PA was that Flo had actually scored. We were back in the Albion post match before we saw it was Rogers! That was my first night match.

Didn't he also score a better against Arsenal?

Thanks. I watched that in the pub in Northallerton as it was a Monday night I think and we couldn’t get down for the game because dad was working. I remember whitehouse’s but not the others!
We were 2-0 down though from memory.

I think I got confused because I remembered very clearly Gayle challenging the 'keeper for the winner. He did, but he didn't get the ball, Rogers did. I think that might have been disallowed these days!
