If the pigs are un-beaten to the end of the season by drawing at Cardiff and against Palace; Watford lose both of their games the pigs can go down on goal difference but there are only three goals to play with.

If Watford lose their last two games both need to be by 1-0.

It's so tight.

I can't see Watford going down, Palace will lose to West Brom and Wednesday will lose at Cardiff so it'll come to last a match showdown. Watford should be safe.

Just trying to point out that a 4-0 stuffing for Watford could save the pigs.

Thats a good point actually, they've got to play Reading and they won 6-0 at the weekend!! Bloody hope it doesn't happen though!! I think they'll get at least a point from their last 2 games though.

Just noticed aswell that you're also from Deepcar! Greetings fellow Valley Boy!!

And if the goal difference goes in the pigs favour then a contrived draw between Palace and the pigs keeps them both up.

It is very tight, I still think our point was a bad point for them though, they would have been looking at this game and thinking it would be very possible to get three points out of it. Momentum wise it isn't going to do them a great deal of good being in a winning position to drawing a Derby.

I'm usually very pessimistic in these situations but I really fancy Cardiff to beat Wednesday and Palace to beat WBA (it's at home, on sky and WBA are up and have bum all to play for, and Palace aren't really a relegation hit team when you take away the points deduction). I think that would mean there would be 4 points between them.

Watford have QPR, Reading and Coventry and if we were to continue the above situation and say Wednesday spozz a win against Palace that would mean Watford need a point to take it to goal diff (sorry just repeated what grumpy said) or two to make absolutely sure. I think they will do it.

That said, I can't help thinking the wishy washy bastards will some how get an amazing slice of luck and stay up some how.

Most of all I just want to see Fat Lee crying on National TV.

If Watford take 2/3 points from their midweek trip to QPR and their home game with Reading;

If the Pigs fail to win at Cardiff;

That leaves Palace vs Baggies at Selhurst next Monday - a defeat for Palace means the same as a draw in terms of what they'd have to do on the final day. So they could go for it safe in that knowledge and turn it into a cup tie game that they did so well in earlier in the season. Don't write off Palace against the 'Baggies on the Beach' - I can see next Monday night being a great night on SKY ...

UTB!
