I think something is happening but as Kev McCabe said in his Q+A they don't like to say too much as the message boards get hold of it. With Billy on the list and the cronic shortage of available / fit strikers I would guess Blackie is not off the phone at the moment.

Thank goodness Little has signed we now have two per wing. We just need another up front.

I'd hope not - they'll have a maximum of two days to train with the team. I think we've really shot ourselves in the foot with strikers - we're going to have to go with either Chedwyn, who has yet to play a match with the rest of the team, or Billy, who's on the transfer list (and has yet to set the world on fire too, hat-trick notwithstanding) or both. We've had all summer to sort this out - it's a bit poor really.

Ah, cheers! So about 7 minutes before this thread was started? I know it's olds rather than news but at least it's something!

Wouldn't surprise me if we did exactly what we did when we sold Beattie and just hoped we had the signing of Lita in the bag without a back up plan incase the deal failed.

yeah think the same, everyday i think we might have suprise singing but not looking like we will.. couple players short for promotion chances. i hear sharpe is our only stiker fit for friday nite. not good:-(

The Beckford rumour seems to have stopped dead weeks ago.Was'nt it Blackwell who signed him for Leeds?
I would'nt be suprised if Blackwell was trying to snap him up.
Any ideas?

My bet is thats exactly what we did. At least in this case though we've still got Sharp, which, although he couldn't hit a cows backside with a banjo, is better than having no-one at all.
