3. We strengthened the team then weakened it by selling Murphy.
4. None of the Money has been reinvested
5. We are told the same thing every year
6. Really No.1 is all that matters

What I don't get and really would like to know is:

1) is Adkins saying to the board what we have is good enough?
2) have the board told Adkins you've got to work with what you have?

If the Prince is as ambitious as he would have us believe or more to the point Jim Phipps would have us believe he would invest the required amount now to get us out of this league and not be splitting hairs over what % of wages we are willing to pay.

So once again it's not the manager's fault? Didn't Adkins do due diligence before he came? Didn't he ask for opinions from people in the game? Didn't he grill Morgan etc. about what was required? Or, like the majority of managers, was he happy to blunder along, pick up a fortune for failure and wait for the next mugs to employ him?

All I know is that I've been interviewed for jobs way, way below the average football manager and wouldn't have got past the first interview if I didn't ask the relevant questions. No wonder managers get the boot on an almost daily basis. The majority of them are fucking useless.
