I don't think Doyle had that many choices to make TBH.happy with signings , think Doyles made a poor choice , ,not being bitter , but Cardiff not well run just now
We are a biggger stronger squad now with some variation in options, the players we have signed know the english game
I think he'll do ok there. Cardiff went on a panic buying spree yesterday by the looks of it.I don't think Doyle had that many choices to make TBH.
Either stay at Chesterfield or go to Cardiff for double your wages. Most players can only see as far as the extra money, especially when they've got agents pushing them on and parent clubs shoving them out of the door.
Chesterfield were holding out for bigger bids that never came. Cardiff's was the only one that came anywhere near and I don't think that was big enough.
However, i do think it's a bad career move for the lad.

Doyle looks a decent player at this level which is helped by the way that Chesterfield play. Don't know much about Cardiff really so can't comment on how they play etc, but Doyle certainly has the talent and movement to get goals. Just whether Cardiff suits him football wise.
In the end he went for bigger money and whilst I've nothing against that, paying an inflated fee and wages would've left us with less money.
I think we'll be looking at loans for a big lad unless Higdon sorts himself quickly... But the options we have up front and on the wings is pretty good now
Like most fans, i hope he comes good. Like most, im not sure he can turn it around nowHigdon is in a very lucky position, hope he can grab it.
Every player has stiff opposition for their position/role. Higgo is first, second and last choice big No 9.

He seems to be lacking confidence and whilst he was a little daft on Saturday, it wasn't a good performance by the entire side in the first half. We rode our luck. Higdon's had run out though, so we didn't get chance to see him second half. However, Murphy brought us so much more. Its not to say that Higdon won't get chances between now and the end of the season, i think he could get a run out tonight and put himself about against a very physical back four. I think he's better equipped (for the team) for Preston than McNulty. Not a better player, just better equipped.
Seeing the front three in the second half on Saturday suggests thats the way forward against the better sides, certainly at home. Pacey, good movement and adaptable to switch players from centre to wings. The thought of Che, Done and Murphy as the front three is pretty exciting, but we'd need a solid three in the middle of midfield.
